CEO: Sberbank to keep 30% of staff at remote work after pandemic

MOSCOW, Mar 19 (PRIME) -- Russian top bank Sberbank will keep a third of staff at home or in a hybrid mode of work after the coronavirus pandemic ends, CEO German Gref told reporters on Friday.

“As of today, we’ve decided that after the pandemic we’ll keep some 30% of our employees in a mixed mode or online. We’ve already calculated savings and a decrease of the relevant office premises, it is all included in our new business plan,” Gref said.

The mixed mode is highly popular among some categories of the staff, and the bank creates new formats of work, like shared work places, he said.
